Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Position

Job Summary:
Candidate must currently be ATP certified in order to be considered for this position.
Responsible for generating sales opportunities for complex rehab mobility equipment, networking, relationship building, marketing to increase awareness of local presence, responding to team requests, facilitating adequate and correct documentation while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Establish and maintain business relationships with providers, facilities and all referral sources.

·         Work with all Licensed Health Care Professionals as a team to ensure our patients are being serviced with the highest quality.

·         Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess and recommend appropriate mobility and seating, based on specific patient conditions and needs.

·         Coordinate the ordering of equipment with manufacturers based on specifications from seating evaluation.

·         Maintain RESNA certification.

·         Manage documentation and paperwork process for provision and reimbursement.

·         Exhibit knowledge of technical attributes of DME industry, and serve as a consultant and product knowledge expert to enhance the sales process.
Adhere to all local, state and federal requirements such as ACHC, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to five years of job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. RESNA ATP Certification required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

·         Valid Driver’s License with proof of clean motor vehicle report (MVR).

·         Background check and pre-screen drug test required.

·         RESNA ATP Certification required.
